How outcomes are measured

The grade improvement figure isn't an estimate. It comes from logging each student's grades before a term starts and again after it ends, then writing that change directly into the outcome number. Across 111 students, average scores rose from 49.8% to 59.9%, a gain of about 10.1 percentage points, or roughly 20% relative improvement. Individual students ranged from about 12% to 28%. Growth in the program is tracked the same way: the free weekly schedule stayed fixed at 54 weeks across 6 nine-week terms, from June 2023 to December 2025, so the student count only climbed as far as the team could actually support.
